Policies:
1. General Return Conditions
Returns are accepted within five (5) business days of receipt only for items that are unopened, unused, and in their original manufacturer packaging with all factory seals intact.
2. Electronic Spare Parts & Components
Due to the sensitive nature of laboratory instrumentation electronics, all spare parts (including but not limited to circuit boards, sensors, and power supplies) are considered Final Sale once the original manufacturer’s factory seal has been broken or the part has been removed from its anti-static packaging.
3. "Defective" Claims & Diagnostic Testing
Service AI provides new, manufacturer factory-tested components. We do not accept returns on parts that were purchased for "test-and-repair" purposes. If a part is installed and the original error persists, this is typically indicative of an underlying system issue (e.g., motor failure, cabling, or software) rather than a defect in the new part.
We cannot verify the electrical integrity of a component once it has been installed in a customer’s machine; therefore, installed parts are ineligible for return or RMA under the "defective" classification.
4. Professional Installation Requirement
To guarantee the performance of a replacement part, Service AI strongly recommends professional installation by a certified field service engineer.
Self-Installation:
Customers who choose to install parts themselves assume all risk. Service AI is not responsible for parts damaged during DIY installation or for incorrect self-diagnosis.
Service AI Installation:
Parts purchased and installed by Service AI is covered under our limited service warranty.
5. Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns on products that have been:
* Used or installed.
* Altered or modified.
* Removed from original factory-sealed packaging.
* Damaged due to improper installation or handling by the customer.
6. Restocking Fees All eligible returns (unopened/unused) are subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover inspection and administrative costs. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
